BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The teen who was indicted for rape in the Madison Brooks case was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison Tuesday.
According to court documents, Desmond Carter, 17, was indicted for first and third-degree rape by a grand jury on Feb. 22. He will be tried as an adult.
His arraignment has been set for March 1.
