CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The 2022 Louisiana Envirothon takes place at the state capitol and two teams from Caddo Magnet are the winners.
Five students a part of their team called the Hue Manatees from Caddo Magnet are the first places winners of the 16th annual Louisiana Envirothon hosted by the Department of Environmental Quality.
They also scored the highest in testing areas which include Foresty, current issues, and wildlife.
Caddo Magnet also comes in second place with five students a part of the Green Team.
The Louisiana Envirothon is a problem-solving competition where eleven teams from across the state present their presentations.
This year’s focus was on waste to resource management.
