hey everyone and welcome back we are continuing
with the Justice League the Snyder cut this is part two which I just looked up there were
technically well it's part two for us there's six parts of the Snyder cut we're watching part
four to six now and we're splitting the videos into two so this is our second video go back and
watch Parts one through three which we probably uploaded a couple of days ago so the first
part of this movie really set up what's to come um obviously we have Steppenwolf going and getting
all these mother boxes here we have Bruce Wayne and Diana kind of I feel like there's a great
team together getting the group together we still haven't got any anything about Superman coming
back I know he has to come back to life at some point so yeah I I really enjoyed the first half
I think overall like I probably enjoyed the first half of this more so than I enjoyed the original
movie in its entirety um it's interesting because we mentioned it in the in our end cap of the last
three parts that we think that this movie probably would have been a little bit more streamlined if
we had gotten the Aquaman movie prior if we had gotten The Flash movie prior if we got like the
cyborg movie prior and then you really wouldn't have to spend as much time building those
characters up which I did enjoy watching yeah but you did say each one seemed like it probably
could have been a whole movie especially Cyborg's character yeah I really didn't know much about
his character at all I feel like they all could have had their own movies like I mean obviously
some of them did end up getting some of their movies after the fact but I just feel like coming
before they could have really fleshed out their storylines and then you could have really grown
to love these characters and then seeing them all come together in this movie and deal with the
villain here instead of needing to spend a lot of time on their backstories which mind you I still
enjoyed seeing all their all their backstories and stuff but I just feel like it would have been
cooler for me I guess just to see them all have their get introduced in their own movies yeah so
with Stefan wolf he has two of the mother boxes the third one is currently in the shallow grave
that is well Cyborg's body was supposed to be um we do know that he has his dad he like you
know trying to get information out of him I feel like I remember like some element of like these
boxes but like because we had seen the original Justice League prior but I just don't remember
what happens first I don't know if they're gonna get the box and that's where they're gonna have
to try and turn to like get Superman back I don't know if it's a situation where they just kind of
knew Superman but they don't know Superman's alive so they have to kind of resurrect him I think
but I'm not 100 sure I get a little foggy with that seeing dark side was really interesting his
character I don't remember him from the original so I don't know if he was just like an added
element that they intended to always have and then they just like streamlined everything and just
made it all about Steppenwolf and the original one because I do remember that um but I thought he
was like the main Baddie in the first one [Music] thank you I mean that's a cool shot yeah how
many of you are there not enough they're getting a team together demons must
have caught the scent of a mother box not the lab they carry people away to find out what
they know so the ape may still be alive nine here we go coming with us with us because we're
not all going to fit in your car something bigger do you really think that they're already oh oh
so why are you the fast one and you're still here that's rude as he'll catch up to them and like a flash
a flash we'll do this together fighting as they literally did not do it together oh they're using those stupid
little bug things again he doesn't give a [ __ ] oh that didn't really do as much damage as I
thought it was going to get him out of there I thought the little spider was gonna
like go into his head for a second oh Zacks come on flash [Music] oh don't even
need him her tune is like my favorite yeah [Music] come on let's all work together laughs can't you just like carry one by
one like Quicksilver did what's that oh is that the thing that they got
here oh it's an actual like crawler I like how this outfit helps from afar Alfred's like his guy at the desk whoa this I feel like should come with the
warnings oh oh okay that was very flashy I gotta help maybe we can get her I don't know
it'd be nice to just like grab the sword and just like shove it into his eye I know like
at this speed where he can't even see you honestly that would be the way it's very much feeling like uh days of
Future's Past that movie so much too I'm running to the [ __ ] wall oh my gosh
she stubbed his toes that's the worst hey but you helped I guess I feel like she would
have got it anyway you should have been better off helping out Batman to be honest he's the
one who's taking the [ __ ] hell right now wow she's like the only one on the
team that can compete with him right now until we get Superman back wasn't
sure he'd come you're my father no I love cyborg I don't know why I didn't
like really remember that much of him from the Justice League but like I feel
like this version made me appreciate his character so much more and I just like I'm sad
I hope they bring his character back somehow oh is he gonna fix it oh or just
wait wait maybe he is you grid boy like no but I know you and your social
security number and your bank account balance thank you oh [ __ ] oh my God I was just gonna use it to get out no he doesn't even need it I forgot
he does a little portal thing no oh he's gonna okay get in the
damn night crawler go go go go can you still go fast if your leg hurts just maybe
half the speed if you go on one leg Aquaman oh there you go plug this hole back
up when there's water there's who is that this movie's had some pretty epic moments yeah
like especially a kind of hero epicness makes me sad that we're like resetting everything
I know I'm like dang I feel like I'm growing attachments just to have it ripped away it seems
like uh Zack Snyder probably should have been like the the Kevin foggy of this universe to be
honest which I guess for a time he was but I feel like he didn't get the uh the time needed I
feel like you could really see what he was going for yeah well I mean when you get like his cut
of it yeah yeah like I like the dark grittiness the third one you're gonna wake up now I feel like the third one he's gonna get
the third one before they get Superman whoa oh like the other box well I know I don't know I'm
assuming yeah but like but did you already know that it's like that's why you're asking the damn
scientists it's not on this world because it's in a cemetery on Earth or is this Earth and he's just
saying that he took the mother box from Atlantis all he needs now cyborg yeah oh he went to get it
that makes sense have you finished the conquest not yet quit checking up with me every freaking
five minutes before Almighty Dark Side came to the throne he searched the universe for the Ultimate
Weapon the anti-life equation oh is that what he was looking for he found it hidden On A Primitive
Planet but with the story of the defiance I have found the Primitive
Planet the world that fought back it is Earth did you not know that before the blue
life equation is carved into the surface of this very world I think it was like what he had put
on the ground when he like you know that pattern find the third box ing scorched I will come for my great
prize but he can go back to his world I will stride across their bones
and past in the glow of empty life well they're definitely gonna end up fighting
him later yeah with Superman hopefully yeah I feel like they need Superman to go up against
him why don't we just destroy it Fire doesn't destroy the boxes they're an unknown form
of matter you know a lot about these boxes makes you think he knows a lot about a lot
of things I don't know you're not working for them Uncle man you just got here it's
a long story he brought you the [ __ ] box how did they get it though the scientists I don't
know where did I get from Viking grounds to a scientists Nazis they dug it up under an Italian
Monastery oh so they did dig it up they brought it back to the states in 44.
Wow a known object it's
funny how there's like ties with this to the Nazis and then also like you know with Hydra and all
like the tesseract I had an accident that should have killed me down desperation did he use the Box
yeah yeah that's like what you had thought so he kind of like is like the vision of this universe
so he came from this box so that's probably why he's a connection to it the boxes don't think
in terms of healing or killings alive or dead they rearranged matter at the will of
their masters regenerate use it for good it's not gonna say it yeah I mean we knew it was coming my
voice and I just miss him well don't worry it's coming back [Music] he's going away we're
gonna defy the laws of nature I know that I'm talking about like the universe this just makes me
want like them to keep the Snyder verse you know we're calling it The Snyder versus Snyder verse whoa wait who are you what is
going on who the hell are you a lizard person where are you what was that one who are
you what's up with that was I mean we have to try what do we have to
lose we cannot try unless we activate the Box I want to tell them where it is yeah Victor's
father activated a mother box more than a year ago when Superman was still alive didn't call
out the Steppenwolf none of the boxes did not until not until Superman died because he
was he was Earth's protector interesting her tone has changed greatly since the last film
I don't know it's like where was this energy came back in the end yeah all the king's horses that's the
next one gonna be All the King's Men any luck if I look you mean Johnson hell we're
getting flying today then now Cyborg's supposed to fix this I feel like they're not working
smarter Victor clear this place up done I'm gonna set off like an alarm yeah I mean not usually I follow protocol though the silent Stone do you read this is a false alarm
someone has hacked into the system it's your son father I'm in the Justice League
now trying to bring back Superman oh yeah he had his son's back this way like are we gonna see like Superman's
like does his body Decay like what is he gonna look like he's probably
gonna look like regular I don't know but then again I don't know he kind of like when
he was in space and almost died he like got all well it's like the power of the sun charges him
because they they didn't I remember correctly this atmosphere in the sun gives them more power
than what they would like on their own planet is she pregnant is that why
she didn't go back to work or she hasn't taken it um
maybe she's been too scared it's pretty much like Ultron like Ultron
for good I'm gonna be able to jump start it I don't like to break this rule but when I
approach the speed of light I look crazy things happen to time but if I do it oh now they're
gonna reset the universe if I can get enough distance I can conduct a significant electrical
current I might be able to wake the box I still wonder if him going to him in Batman versus
Superman is going to involve this movie or not or if that was a plot or maybe it got
discarded because you know maybe it pops up in The Flash movie because maybe yeah
it could because he basically basically said something about Lois Lane and like they
needed to stop Superman I don't remember it's like her coming to grips
with it it's like just as you finally moved on and accepted it we're
ready to move on yeah he's gonna come back just when you thought you
were out it pulled you back in okay here we go [Music] whoa that's what happens when he whoa or is that just another planet oh
okay it looks like we did the flag what who's seeing this this is like Visions is
this like an alternate universe or something dark side is there what the heck oh it's like or is it like them imagining what he's gonna do to his revenge I feel like that's what it is like because like the signal got sent out
and he's just like oh yes everything oh Superman's back who is he holding I'm assuming
Lois would he be crying over it that or his mom was that Green Lantern a lantern yeah yeah oh the
Batman song this one's from Batman's decision the magic Batman yeah yeah there's an element about
the the original Justice League that you don't remember that I remember but I'm not going to tell
you because I'm gonna let you be surprised okay oh so he's doing his time reversal thing right [Music] whoa did it work I don't know exactly what he
did but it looked like it did something oh did it say the future has taken root something along those lines she's like [ __ ]
I just got over him is the future the weird Mad Max apocalypse version of the world
oh grab that box you know what it is oh hey suit yeah in it oh eaten them all together do you
remember what happens after is he like villainous I don't remember
what I feel like he tries to kill them or something I don't remember
I think I think they fight him uh oh oh he's like okay so he's singing weird stuff but I don't
really know what that means though oh he's just scanning them does he just not
have his memories like he sees them as a threat always he can oh okay oh murderous intent oh oh and you shot at him so now he's gonna
like he's gonna take that as a threat well how are we gonna snap him out
of this we need to restrain him oh my God we're getting one punch man over here that's the fight we really want to see yeah
one punch man Superman I don't know saitama he is a hero for fun tell the truth oh my gosh he's like the truth
is I'm about to beat that ass knock you out not that he's got a woman okay oh my gosh she doesn't wanna he can't handle the
truth oh my gosh that's so crazy bringing somebody back from the dead always backfires and everything
have you not seen Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood can you like [Laughter] [Music] I love Superman so much
even when he's Dark Superman watch him hit him like midair dang I mean he's fast enough
to at least have Dodge that that's crazy like that he can even keep up in the
slightest that means he's that fast too then right oh he hit you I mean since he died last time
they had to really like make him cool here he literally did go villain mode I mean he just woke up since these freaking
like four freaking strong ass people right in front of him doesn't really know what's
going on and now they're shooting at him the lowest so like remember who he is because
true love fixes all oh my gosh where's Batman okay now where the hell is Batman yeah
he's like the slowest person here hey he's trying his little hardest okay like
remember me I was trying to kill you too also the fact that you have an auto
defense system is kind of weird like you can't control it you should not
feel like you shouldn't have that insane honestly she's so cool oh my God you're gonna run
into him oh my gosh this is just so cool I mean like I don't want them to fight but it's
just really cool to see how how powerful he is oh oh my gosh oh my gosh the little thing that
freaking wants his face yeah Alfred oh that was literally took one
hit so you got one extra arm oh I don't know the fire would do anything you have to remember it's coming back to you she may or may not be
pregnant I'm not sure I feel like he gets a little bit of a pass because he just woke
up from the dead I woke up from the dead oh he's got to go with us yeah we kind of
woke him up for a reason we kind of needed him we're gonna have to go track
him down later Lisa's out there he's alive maybe he just needs a few moments
to decompress you know remember who he is I feel like he's gonna die what is he about to do like what oh is he gonna like
what is this what candidates do I mean realistically you can take it okay oh yeah I feel like he's about to sacrifice himself
but like oh pay attention behind you oh my gosh she's had such a hard time with parents oh would he try to destroy it is
what oh my God down that is [ __ ] oh my gosh that was like one of
the most heartbreaking things picture he tried like it just it disintegrated
right in front of him and then nothing happened oh my gosh I know you know
what did he do something oh the court of anything that house would have to break
off the charts of thermal energy system okay so you could trace it okay oh oh it's still sad when it like you know makes
me happy that he like did something oh my gosh and he knew his son would figure it out I
just really said there was not a cyborg movie do you remember everything else what
is the last thing you remember we need to know the Baseline of what we need
to fill you in on yeah there's a lot going on and we don't have time for just
getting stabbed to death to play family wow [Laughter] explosives ones ever
in the boxes once we can't blow it up not from the outside I want to
plug into the unity one on one whoa oh that's pretty crazy you could die
Victor if I don't we all die period hmm I got nothing left yeah it just doesn't but
getting him in means attacking that base fighting the devil in his army you know I mean this this
guy's probably fought thank you for that Aquaman thank you for specifying words yeah can he like do his X-ray thing
on her and see if she's pregnant I guess you like actively control when you do
it and not do it right yeah he doesn't just see like that just like everyone's a skull I know I
think you're the hottest skeleton I've ever seen no I need you to go into another
death fight like right now okay all right putting it together now okay he's finally gonna fix
that ship I had a dream like a almost like a premonition the was it
from from Batman versus Superman yeah yeah okay yes yes that's what I kept referencing to Superman they're very
hard but why did he say that yeah because it would he said it for a reason
he had to come back in time to tell you what if he just misjudged it and went too early or
something hmm I don't know like in those like Visions it looked like Superman was dark you
know yeah well he looked like an evil Superman or something and it looked like an apocalyptic
world with all those bugs but I still don't know if that's gonna be like this movie or they were
trying to go for something else with that one I don't think the bug people
care they just take commands everyone's gonna get the notification remember in that Vision they
were at her funeral too yeah not tea tonight huh Alfred reminders hmm they will join you in the Sun comes the choice of whether to stand proud like
both his dads talking to him there he is and really keep him on their
toes if you showed up in like the other suit is this the black suit I can't tell if it's
just because of the Shadow I know it's been hardcore in that Vision Superman was wearing
the black suit [Music] I think it is yeah wow oh that was I liked that how it was
like both of his dads talking to him wow gotta charge up real quick that's why I brought you together it's not like because of like the
visions that could be popping up hmm because I mean we'll stop them you
know I mean cyborg solid Vision too oh okay there we go [Music] okay oh my God these are the flying
things he saw too in his vision what does that mean stick to the [ __ ] plan I feel like now's not the time to like yeah yeah like just stick to what
y'all planned on doing yeah that was the Batmobile all
right like that was right side of me about to like run him over I hope so yeah [ __ ] him up oh [ __ ] nice let's go how they brought the
Batmobile into like this final battle oh my gosh his gun is bigger [Applause] go back the other way oh my gosh this is cool yeah it's cool to see him like taking them on by himself I mean he needs the
Batman in order to do it yeah you have anything you can use oh there we go they're all here that's so cool yeah I love when they all team up together this is so cool this movie
is so much better than the original oh now you're Sky man [Music] dang but you're how are you gonna you know oh
he got him I guess you just hope for the best wow see that's some teamwork there falling
with style he's like literally like I'm just waiting for the moment Superman shows
up but also I don't know if he's gonna become like evil I have no idea where that's gonna go
I feel like there's I mean there's time left in the movie but not like that much yeah for him
to have a whole evil Arc you know I don't know I think there goes the Batmobile for this fight he checked good thing he's Rich because
he is still there those all the time oh oh [ __ ] he got them both I feel like
even the effects look a lot better I don't fully remember from the first movie but like it when does dark side show up though oh use their own guns against them oh he's gonna blow it up I would have shot a few more bugs first
oh [ __ ] I guess you could use this one Alfred didn't finish his whiskey no that's I hope you know I'm too late he's gonna show up like right on time when they
need him and save somebody and do something cool it's like throw your Trident on his ass should have taken him with the element of surprise why did you abandon your own sisters you
really want to know that right now he went there to protect them from me and sadly
you could have he's trying to work her up oh [Music] [ __ ] him up can you not even did it not work
I mean he has to like get like the other guy is I mean flash is
like freaking building up energy right now and he's gonna touch him

no way in hell he would have been able to do that it was just like skill he lost

know much about the flash to be honest yeah it's like dark side I don't even
know where the flash got his powers oh my gosh whoa whoa was that um it's got a whole Army
here there's that [ __ ] thing that's been talking to Steppenwolf Steppenwolf whatever
like showed up from like the nether realm oh it's freaking sinking oh wait did
it not work oh [ __ ] crap crap crap oh my gosh oh my gosh the world is like doing its thing can
you reverse time like how we did earlier this is like that post-apocalyptic scene [Music]
okay he's healing do it and then reverse time He Did It Before [Music] foreign [Music] but the
land is coming back the land the Earth [Music] wow it's like rebuilding everything yeah I
feel like if you didn't do this then there was probably a lot of Justice League members that
were dead yeah find that Superman but I feel like most of the other ones [Music] oh my gosh so
Superman did [ __ ] die oh again it like destroyed all of them like that's freaking crazy [Music]
damn it just like annihilated everyone [Music] okay wow if it weren't for the flesh like it
would have been over okay now what happens [Music] oh don't trust it though I've been waiting for
you you know it's trying to manipulate you this [ __ ] box be alone anymore shut up you're not
my dad it's the Mother Box don't listen to it probably all three cubes seeing it's like white hair oh the damn witches oh yeah get your hands off me
all right breaking them apart one less horn gosh you're like oh I didn't expect that back to your portal she's gonna get a good hit and two kill him
first yeah or get his head cut off his head yes oh [ __ ] that's for talking bad about my family oh my gosh his head's probably gonna go flying
in a different direction yeah oh my goodness oh what the heck never come to Earth again yeah
well I feel like he's gonna go out there though can laser beam his ass from
here you don't want no part of this [ __ ] it's like always
the planet he can't take over I kill you just for even
saying some [ __ ] like that way oh [ __ ] let's [ __ ] him up when he comes to Earth I don't
know if we have enough time to get there though we'll see yeah I don't know I don't know like
was this something that's actually going to be in this movie or like for was getting set up for
the future you know oh my gosh I hope it happens in this movie because like that would suck that's
it like oh my gosh it's gonna have it's never gonna happen I feel like it was a setup because
there's not enough time yeah there's not enough time yeah to have all that and a conclusion
yeah this movie was so [ __ ] good [Music] it's like from the first one to this one
like what happened like this literally felt like a different movie like I
was thoroughly intained entertained throughout the entirety of this film
whereas I remember like yeah I was feeling like whatever about it like during
like watching the original one in theaters wow it's just so sad that they're
like this Ensemble is not going to be a thing anymore [Music] oh there's an
epilogue a father did was she pregnant or oh is he fixing it so he could hear the voice over oh it's his father it's not his father was dead the world's not fixed the ship have you not been in your manner oh big round table 16.

yeah oh and you brought him back to life well that's nice power of money now right
I bought the bank whatever was the hero no [Music] cyborg was super cool too [Music] what

it's it's done you know like it's handled you love maybe not when it's not like run into something close your eyes oh okay I guess you could
always just undo it is now oh is this Lex Luthor finally I think
that I see somebody bald yeah that's him what are you doing I know is that even him I don't think that's him did he like break out
probably yeah they just like he just swapped I mean he has the power of money too so pretty
sure he could hire people to break him out and he's really smart [Music] I mean not that it
really matters because I don't feel like the spotlight's gonna go anywhere either I mean I
don't know though I guess it could I don't know that's the thing I have no idea like are
we just gonna start from the beginning like okay I think I remember um like a
scene at the end of the original yeah I remember this well I mean I remember
like the first iteration of it you have too much to live for and more important
things to do but if you want the bad man he will forever be uh al-seed from True Blood
to me his name is Bruce Wayne on second thought hey this is what he saw oh wait is
this a different planet timeline yeah this is the vision this is the exact Vision
so are we gonna have like an evil Superman here I know post-apocalyptic Batman and his trench coat yeah so what is this then is
it like an alternate universe or is it like a reoccurring dream where cyborg okay what the heck well we
need to hurry we can't be out in the open much longer you'll come for
us what is this what even is going on he'll come first he's here too are you working
with him is it Superman they're talking about he's hot for what he did Arthur this has to
be a different timeline yeah this has to be like an alternate timeline where Superman's
like evil or something and he killed Aquaman like this it was cool with
you like a summer right now oh God is that what I think it is he's working with you Joker
Leto Joker next thing you say like an adopted son oh my God and the slightest oh my goodness you want to kill
me I'm your best friend oh my gosh who's gonna give you a reach around me created by letting her die how'd you let her die what happened because this
the future I don't understand you don't have the colonies to die yourself what what does that even
mean though as long as you have this car truce you know I don't like your little
Joker like interesting concept of having them team up together you know it's funny dying oh my breath and when I killed you
mistake I will [ __ ] kill you dang that's something she
would say you almost had me ah this is probably when Dark Side came right
what could have been like came back yeah surround us Superman I bet yeah Dark Superman [Music] so is he supposed to be Flash oh he's still dreaming it's always
his dang dream sequences but it has to be like Visions not just dreams
remember there was like a scene um with Cyborg and he was like whole uh super Ben
he saw Superman holding a body I'm assuming that was Lois Lane and Darkseid came by and put his
hand on his shoulder recruiting him like yeah is this that [ __ ] like person who
talked to Martha not Martha Lois how do y'all know each other what
are you who are you can I help you I'm sure you know dark side is not finished with
Earth the anti-life equation is here somewhere we have to find it before he does so this
was setting up the next thing probably and like you I've realized I have a stake in
this world it's time I started fighting for it oh what's the name well we could definitely use the
help okay he was supposed to join the Justice yeah it wouldn't have happened without you Bruce
your mother and father would be proud oh that was nice I'll be in touch oh and son called
me the Martian Manhunter oh I bet like comic book readers are probably like whoa they're probably
like whoa when he first yeah you know revealed himself well that would have been cool I just I
don't imagine that they're gonna continue that yeah I don't feel like you can what while
having different actors you know [Music] even though it would have been really cool it
felt like so many things were getting set up there was like so many setups here [Music] oh is that his daughter yeah probably right yeah
oh my gosh well this was so good um and like you said kind of makes you sad that yeah it never
really got to really have its Heyday let me make sure there's no end credit scene did this get
released in theaters no it got released on HBO Max oh man I feel like seeing this in theaters
would have been like a really cool experience it definitely would have needed an intermission
yeah so maybe it could have been split up into two movies I think I said this in the outro of
part one but there's a reason that movies aren't four hours all the time you know people just don't
have the attention span don't want to watch a four hour movie and also just like have things to do so
yeah I feel like this could have been like a like two like a two-parter like you know just just
like Infinity War yeah game type of situation um the movie itself before we got to the epilogue
was so good I loved so much of it I found myself thoroughly entertained at no point did I find
myself bored even though like you said yeah in typically you would think okay you have something
so long you're gonna kind of like lose your attention a little bit at some point but I really
didn't feel that at all throughout this movie um and I said it when we started this movie that
I just the original one was just I don't remember liking it I don't remember a whole lot of details
I do remember like you know the bringing back Superman I forgot how they brought back Superman
I remember them fighting uh Stefan wolf I don't remember dark side at all so I'm assuming that
he was something that was cut out of the original movie in its entirety don't quote me on that I
might be wrong but I just don't remember seeing him and then obviously this the setup here yeah
with this whole Vision that um Batman was seeing in Batman v Superman it wasn't even about this
fight it was about a fight further to come and you know there was a lot of you know roles and
people cast in like the dceu which I just wasn't the biggest fan of I wasn't the biggest fan of Ben
Affleck however I think he did really well in this movie I liked him as Batman significantly more in
this movie than I did Batman v Superman obviously Jared Leto um I didn't really like him in the
the original Suicide Squad I don't think a lot of people did um but he was back here and the concept
of them working together was really cool to think about like oh the possibilities and whatnot um
man I feel like it was just setting up so much and it's just like now what could have been you
know it just makes you feel like sad inside and I wish that I mean no offense to James Gunn because
I did like the suicide squad I did like Peacemaker but it's just like this Vision I feel like it
didn't really fully come to fruition about like what this universe could have set up initially
I was just I liked Man of Steel but I didn't think it was it was like the best thing in
the world when I saw Batman v Superman I I said it was earlier I didn't really like Ben
Affleck as Batman but you know when Casey went back and watched it I watched her reaction to
it and there was stuff about that movie that I feel like I kind of didn't appreciate as much
as I do now and then this you know seeing the Snyder cut of the Justice League it really just
it makes me sad like sad that it was so good and then what could have been I think also I mean I'm
not trying to like compare Zack Snyder and James Gunn but they just have very different styles
too and just seem like Snyder's like yeah very more drama oriented whereas James Gunn likes to
inject a lot of Comedy too which is good too yeah but I there was something here that I just really
wanted to keep exploring and especially the the like apocalyptic thing looked so cool and just to
know that it was already getting set up in Batman vs Superman and like the flash came back to him
then it just I don't know I I really wanted to see that play out in like the future and then
there they were already starting to introduce all these new characters I do think though for
the Snyder cut um something that I think would have enhanced it more and I said this before is
if a lot of these characters Origins were explored in their own movie first instead of having the
origins in the Snyder cut not that I disliked seeing the origins but I think that then first
of all it would have had more but like in their own separate ways yeah and it probably would have
cut out like like an hour or so of off the movie um not that it mattered too much because I feel
like everybody knew going in you're gonna watch a long movie here I like how they broke it up
into the system part but I do think that it would have benefited just to have these characters
like just know their backstory going in already have seen their movies and then just getting to
the anticipation of seeing them work together I think it just could have made it that much more
exciting yeah um I think James Gunn recently did like an announcement video of like his new slate
and like the start of the universe and whatnot and I feel like he said something along the lines
about the Flash movie being the kickoff for it so that movie has been being made or has been being
made for a long time obviously with Ezra Miller there's like a lot of drama involved there which I
feel like they're gonna recast I feel like they're recasting everyone I feel like what's gonna happen
because we don't really know much about like the flashes back story I feel like what's probably
gonna happen because we have seen that trailer where Michael Keaton's Batman shows up which
Casey's actually never seen all those uh 80s and 90s Batman movies so I do want to get over to
watch those at some point but what I feel like is going to end up happening is he's going to do
something in that movie that's going to kind of Multiverse a Madness type of situation combining
universes and whatnot and then probably by the end of it it's gonna like wipe the Slate clean that's
what I assume like that just kind of makes the most sense if you're going that route it's like
how would they continue all this yeah first of all if they were just to continue the storyline with
different actors it'd be weird yeah third of all you can't really I feel like you can't just change
because this problem or not problem but you know the kind of problem like the reason they even put
out the Snyder cup was because they had changed directors in the first place yeah but it's just
kind of difficult to change directors when you're already in the middle of someone's decision in
the movie yeah man it's just so sad and you know I actually recently just saw a comment from uh I was
gonna say I was gonna say Bruce Wayne Ben Affleck I saw a comment from Ben Affleck's I didn't
click the article so I didn't you know know if it was just like you know click bait or
whatnot but he said that working on like the Josh Whedon Justice League was one of like the
worst experiences he had really in acting yeah um I don't know what that could mean uh I think
I'm not 100 sure but I feel like they went back and filmed some stuff after the fact when they
announced that they were gonna do this but I'm not a hundred percent sure I feel like like I
don't really want to go back and re-watch the first Justice League but I think I'm gonna I saw
some YouTube videos of like comparisons I might watch those because I just don't understand
like how first of all how did we get so bad I just said it's just so crazy because people said
like oh it's you have to watch this haircut it's literally a different movie and I remember
us being like really like like that just I don't really want to sit through four hours of the
Justice League yeah but like I totally get it was like a completely different experience and like
it's just so crazy that some like this got turned into that and I don't know if they did have to
they probably did have to refilm a bunch of scenes it's just so crazy that like and even if they
would have cut this down and cut out you know some scenes and stuff I feel like it still would have
been better than like what the first one I saw it was which does it's like crazy so like getting
into like the whole reset here thing too I said it at the beginning of this movie I guess in our
first part of the reaction that I feel like what DC's initial problem was is that it seemed like
they were trying to play catch-up you know they they had the Ensemble piece before they had those
separate movies and like what you said it could have cut down the actual plot of the Justice
League because we were we would have already had the Flash's backstory we would have had a full
movie to really kind of dive in to cyborg we could have like set up the whole idea of like the the
mother Cube prior to that yeah kind of almost like how they did in like Marvel with like you know the
tests arrived and you saw the Infinity Stones just kind of popping up around and then it would had a
bigger payoff and then when we would have lost his father in this even though it was still impactful
it probably would have made it all the more tragic Whoa We like saw his whole backstory and then he
died in another movie he didn't just die in the same movie we were introduced to him and it would
have been cool for cyborg too to just kind of explore because like he had to learn how to come
to grips with knowing all this stuff in his head all the time like I feel like we could have really
went into that and like saw him struggle through that and have to like learn how to be like oh I
have information that I never had before so that's what makes it so sad to me as well is because
I feel like if we had taken that step or not me but you know they had taken that step in like you
know making this all a little bit more fleshed out so that by the time we got to this it was like
freaking epic like I remember watching like the first Avengers movie which I think it came out in
2012 and I was watching all the Marvel projects up to that point it was like the culmination
of so much that it was just like I mean I feel like anybody who was watching it at the time felt
that like initial like oh my gosh type of feeling um seeing them all together there whereas like
okay now we're just getting a whole bunch of extra characters that we know of but we don't
really know them um and now it's sad because it feels like what James Gunn is doing is like he's
actually going throughout that process like I'm going to start anew by doing that and building up
like Justice League you to the characters now like we'll see who ends up taking on these roles I know
Ben Affleck is going to end up being in the flash as well as Michael Keaton so I don't really know
you know what's really going to happen with there I know a lot of people are super excited about
it um I think mostly a lot of it is because of Michael Keaton seeing him come back after like I
think the last I think the Batman came out in like early 90s like the second one I feel like that's
gonna be really fun to see him back for Casey he's like I need to show her the Batman movies before
that movie comes out so that she actually can feel that with us but other than that like it's just
I just like I've said it like four times in this outro but I'm just so disappointed that this
is not going to have its continuation honestly honestly the price you like well I mean obviously
I like to do but like because you were just not a fan of like Justice League at all like Anthony
did not like the Justice League okay like he just was like so like uh like DC right now is whatever
and like you coming out of this are like growing up as a kid like my favorite superheroes that I
gravitated towards were one Batman two Spider-Man and like three I guess this is like an ensemble
but like the X-Men but Batman was at the top of that list for me and you know I grew up in the
90s so I saw like the 90s Batman cartoons I saw the 90s Spider-Man and the 90s X-Men cartoons so
I feel like a lot of that was like you know it put its impression on me and like I just always
loved Batman and I love the Dark Knight trilogy um and when I saw Ben Affleck you know about to
take that role and then eventually taking this role I was like whatever just because I didn't
really like Ben Affleck as an actor but I still didn't like him in Batman v Superman but in this
one as I said he was really really good and like everybody I feel like was was really good in this
movie um so we'll see I mean obviously we also have like Robert Pattinson doing his own thing too
which I did like that movie as well maybe a little bit long you know looking back on it retroactively
but that's going to be like you know its own separate thing like Joaquin Phoenix's Joker that
was his own which is interesting that they do that is like they kind of have their own stories
which I'm not I don't mind it actually like but as long as we know like okay these are kind of
their own things you know but like which I think James Gunn said that yeah so he said that those
are like extended Universe like those take place in a different world type of thing so I feel like
you know they're using the Multiverse probably to like kind of like change things up and if like
the rumors are right with Jason Momoa portraying a new character Lobo yeah they wouldn't explain I
mean if you've seen Marvel you know variants you know how they said like okay well that's just he
looks like him but he's not him you know type of a situation because the OG interpretation of Aquaman
I know what he looks like does not look anything like Jason Momoa but actually I liked him in this
movie I never actually saw Aquaman though and I heard these are rumors online that Aquaman 2 is
like a complete [ __ ] mess and that's supposed to come out later this year as well yeah I mean
they could either try to like do an explanation through like Multiverse or just like alternate
universe or whatever or they could honestly just like wipe the Slate clean and just be like okay
these are new actors and just it is what it is like you know they're the new roles like there's
no relation to the old that you know that could be I think as long as they're clear with it I feel
like it's fine like if they are gonna be like okay these are just we're starting here and these are
the new actors yeah it's kind of sad but like I think just having the clarification will make it
a lot easier for the viewers to understand uh yeah it's gonna be really sad not seeing him back not
seeing uh gal the dog back I feel like those were the two best casts I didn't even think cyborg
I'd probably put him as like yeah I like cyborg a lot and honestly I had like I was starting to
really like Ben Affleck here too which is crazy because like in Batman vs Superman I was like ah
he's okay yeah yeah so we'll see like we're the DC Universe ends up going I know I'm gonna watch
it at some point I I hope that it like obviously it's not gonna be like this just because it's
a different person's Vision than what not but um it's just sad not seeing these characters
anymore it's like this generation's you know superheroes like I know people who grew up in the
80s probably like okay my Batman is Michael Keaton um you know for me my Batman was Christian Bale
even though I saw those uh those 90s and those 80s Batman movies growing up but like the 80s Batman
movies like the first two were Michael Keaton then Val Kilmer then George Clooney I feel like
George Clooney was universally hated in that movie um but I feel like my gravitation was towards the
Dark Knight and Christian Bale however that was Christopher Nolan's own vision for that too which
was just like you know the trilogy and it wasn't going to be connected to this greater you know
Cosmic alien type world it was just kind of as close to grounded in reality as you possibly
could get in a situation like that I mean I guess you know right it's a little obviously
dramatized but like there's no like Superman flying around no one with powers and anything
like that um so like I said it's gonna be a different interpretation of it and I'm excited
but also like kind of sad to see like what comes next all right well thank you so much for watching
