SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A Shreveport woman was killed in a head-on crash that injured another person southwest of Shreveport on Monday morning.
Deputies say around 7:00 a.m., a Chevrolet Tahoe was heading west on Buncombe Rd. and crossed over the center line at the Hwy 169 intersection. The Tahoe struck a Chevrolet Equinox heading in the opposite direction head-on.
The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the woman driving the Equinox as 52-year-old Jacqueline Sabbath, who died at the scene.
The sheriff’s office says the driver of the Tahoe was taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

The crash shut down Buncombe Rd. from Hwy 169 to Simpson Rd. until the investigators finished processing the scene and the wreck could be cleared up.
