SABINE PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Wednesday night, three fire chiefs issued a burn ban in Sabine Parish effective immediately.
Continued dry conditions and low humidity have increased the number of wild land and grass fires. The ban is in effect for the next 30 days or until substantial rainfall occurs.
The North Sabine Fire District says they will not issue burn permits at this time.
