@A Hustlers Approach Sometimes we disagree with countries on individual issues. But, the fact is that Ukraine was minding their own business when attacked. Tje Ukraine was attacked because they were a sovereign nation making decisions as to their right to protect their country.
Putin has shown the whole world his true colors. Even the Taliban has said that Putin does not have the right to invade a sovereign nation and bully them. So did China. Russia has poisoned the world with their bully approach. It may be irreparable damage to their reputation.

I’m a moskovian. I went to a protest today, got arrested almost immediately. But it only makes me angrier. I will do everything I can to stop this. I know I can’t do it on my own, but spreading awareness is important. I love Ukraine. Ukraine will be free, and we, Russians, need to make sure of that.

Aftermath of WW2 – Soviet Iron Curtain – Soviets took over the governments in Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, East Germany, Poland, Romania and Yugoslavia. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania — were made into republics. Even Finland was partly controlled . Russia took a large portion of Poland and Poland in return was given a large portion of Germany. It was if the entire country of Poland was slid across the earth to the west. Only since reunification has Germany renounced their claim on the land that was formerly theirs.

It’s so unfair that so many people have to die fighting in someone else’s war. Nobody wanted this. Not the Ukrainians, not the Russians and not the rest of the world. It’s shameful that this is still happening to this day.
The people who trully wanted this to happen are being called for helping. That’s a cultural and public opinion war well fought and won right there. Its sad to see.

@Thomas Au If Putin allowed to Ukraine to Join NATO, then Ukraine would have gone to war with Russia over Crimea and it would have been a war between NATOP and Russia, as article 5 would compel NATO countries to help Ukraine in the war against Russia… Russia is asking as a precondition to Ukraine ceasefire that Ukraine recognise Crimea as Russian = no war then.

But when Russia goes to war, it’s a horrible atrocity.
But how are these opinions decided?

Or is it that Russia is somehow inherently worse than the US and their wars just automatically more evil?

Was Nicaragua Reagan’s war?
Was Iraq Bush’s war?
Was Libya Obama’s war?
Shall we total up the body counts and see who was the most evil and deadly?
Thoughts & prayers to all the civilians in harms way & to those who’ve died. Hopefully an armistice can be reached sooner rather than later to end the hostilities. Maybe they can concede those separatist areas to Russia in order to keep the rest of sovereign Ukraine in tact. If it continues those may galvanize the world which has been war wary & isolationist much like Western Europe was prior to WW2. This could end badly for Russia & Putin. The brave Ukranian’s are putting up dogged resistance & stalled the invasion. The harder part has yet to come which is occupation. The Russians are fighting due to being forced to by their oligarchic overlords whereas the Ukrainians are fighting for their home & country. This favors Ukraine. If they can hold out maybe the world can hold Putin accountable for the war crimes of countless innocent civilian deaths as they’re indiscriminately hitting civilian targets along with strategic ones. Sadly many children have already been killed. They should be held responsible & made to pay reparations for all the destruction & killing. Putin is stuck in the last century.
