Hi, I'm Anuar, 25 years old and I'm doing
a dual degree at PENNY Markt GmBh and studying at the IST University
for Management Business Administration. I am currently in the process of training
to become a district manager. I actually accompany experienced colleagues in their daily
activities, do inventory checks, look at the market images, look at
the branches in general to see whether decoration plans have been made and I am also responsible for the
maintenance of the branches, staff interviews, job interviews, in general actually
everything to do with the branches which arises daily in the district of the respective district management that
trains me. Willingness is to have an open ear for the
employees. Personnel management is actually one of the most important issues, the biggest
task you have in district management is to form a sensible team. Usually
you deal with between seven and ten market managers and they also have a corresponding
team under them. The course then takes place at the IST University of Management in
Düsseldorf.
The course is distance learning, which suits me personally
because my week is very structured and very packed and I can use the
minimal time resources that are given to me as profitably as possible
thanks to this maximum flexibility of the course and
can implement the learning content sensibly, so that I am so flexible that I
can also watch this online lecture at home. The presence days are very flexible, they take place
one to four per semester depending on the utilization of the module.
We are a big
family of students. We are in distance learning, we are all learning on our own responsibility
and are always grateful for an exchange in the face-to-face seminar and the contact
that you can take with you afterwards, in order
to also close smaller networks in the long term. Maybe staying friends after your studies
or basically establishing some professional contact that will help you in
the long term, so that you have a very good
feeling that there is a sense of community. Well, my goal is to establish myself professionally
after completing my dual studies, so that I can fulfill the management role at my employer and maybe I'll
do a master's degree, who knows..
