Law enforcement officials leading the investigation into Saturday’s mass shooting in Allen, Texas are expected to provide an update at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Five adults and three children were killed when a gunman opened fire on shoppers at a sprawling outdoor shopping mall in Dallas’ northern suburbs. Another seven people were injured and remain hospitalized.

Expected to speak Tuesday afternoon are Allen Chief of Police Brian Harvey, Texas Department of Public Safety Regional Director Hank Sibley and FBI Dallas Special Agent in Charge Chad Yarbrough.
