From submerged vehicles to flight cancellations, the weather has heavily affected Monday travel across North Texas, including DART and TEXRail.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) announces that bus and light rail services may be impacted. DART says its riders can stay informed about service delays by contacting DART Customer Information at (214) 979-1111, DART GoPass App, or by registering for DART Alerts on Dart.org.

In addition, TEXRail Trains announces to expect significant delays and stated that they will be operating at reduced speeds for the safety of passengers and crews.

At this time, the North Side Station is temporarily closed to bus traffic.

Riders can expect delays throughout the day as the rain continues.

TEXRail Grade-Crossing Work Postponed Until Tuesday, August 30.

The project, which will create a more level crossing for motorists in Colleyville, has been rescheduled.

TEXRail service will be modified on Tuesday, August 30, while crews replace a grade crossing at Bransford Road in Colleyville to create a more level crossing for motorists and work will begin at 3:00 a.m.

During that time, a bus bridge will operate between Grapevine/Main Street Station and North Richland Hills/Smithfield Station.

Trains will run every 30 minutes for the duration of the disruption. According to Trinity Metro, passengers should not experience any significant delays.

The first two trains of the day, which depart from North Side Station at 3:20 a.m. and from Mercantile Center Station at 3:31 a.m., will be canceled.
