i just got my first pair of invisalign invisible
line invisa-lign today here right there so i'm going to share with you my experience how
i come about doing it and how it feels right now so let me start with how long it took for me
to at last get my first pair of invisalign april i went for consultation in KTPH and then they tell me the cost about the different
way the traditional braces metal braces and then there's this invisalign which is much more
expensive because the estimated cost is $7,200 and then in july so three months later i
actually did my extraction of my wisdom tooth my two upper molar i had that in another video
which you can watch if you're interested and then after july now is october i went to get my first
pair of aligners they because the last two months i actually need to make the mould and then you
have to ship it to us to make and then they send it back let me tell you why i still try to fix my
teeth when i'm already 38 years old just because even though i'm 38 i think i still got half my
life to spend and this crooked teeth in the last few years i don't know i i thought it got more
crooked and actually that's not the worst i have a molar right here that is even worse the problem
with this crooked teeth is that they are very hard to clean it's possible that they'll decay
in the future and that will be a worse problem and of course when i'm doing youtube i am more
aware of my own crooked teeth so why not make them nicer looking too let me tell you about today
because this morning i went to KTPH hospital before i can put on my first pair of aligners they
have to put on this thing called the attachments or basically their anchors for the aligners
to grip on in total they put on 21 attachments you can see those bumps here so there are
21 of them throughout quadrant by quadrant have to do some scaling cleaning and then
they use this partial aligner with those attachments and they put it in and just for a few
seconds the attachments will attach to the teeth that is actually okay not very uncomfortable
except that it takes a long time to to do all of them the uncomfortable part is the
filing so filing is where they need to create more space between your teeth so they have to take
this thin strip a thin filer and try to file your teeth that gets uncomfortable because it gets
stuck for some of the tooth then finally you put on the tray okay the upper tray lower tray and
putting on is not difficult it is easy the the difficult part is when you have to take out
when she attempts to ask me to take out yeah it was so difficult the other thing that they will
give you is this thing called the bite stick or you call it a chewie what it does is that you
chew it and and the reason that you do that is so that you can have the aligners fit into place
tightly against the teeth when you do that right you actually feel the forces right now when i'm
not biting it i actually feel it's fine but after i bite it for a while i'll feel really all those
forces in play the other thing is really i can't bite fully i can't close fully right now because
of the of the aligners and in terms of speaking it does pose a bit of discomfort when it comes to
speaking but yeah as you can see i can still do it but because you can't bite it can't close
your teeth fully so that affects speaking for the next one and a half years i have to live
with my aligners so the plan is really to go on a diet i will just have two meals maybe
just one in the morning and one for dinner and at the same time when i take out i can
brush my teeth i also have to brush the aligners yeah it takes some discipline
but sounds like i'll have a disciplined life for the next one and a half years
