Fox Corp and its news channel have settled a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5m, in a case that was poised to put the network in the crosshairs over its coverage of false vote-rigging claims in the 2020 US election. While the settlement averted a trial, legal experts referred to it as the largest struck by an American media company.
