US reporter Evan Gershkovich appeared in court in Moscow for the first time since his arrest on charges of espionage. Gershkovich, who works for the Wall Street Journal and AFP, was arrested in Yekaterinburg by the FSB security service, accused of trying to obtain classified defence information for the US government.
