[Music] course tickets let your bookers book onto a fixed series of events with one ticket on bookworm this means that a course ticket applies to each date in the dates and times section of the entry that it is created on the ticket will give access to multiple events and should be priced accordingly to create a course ticket just add all the dates of the course in dates and times then make sure that you check the course ticket box when creating the ticket you can also add a pro rata discount to be deducted for each date that has passed by the time the booker books the ticket in this example a five pound pro rata discount means that anyone booking onto the course after two of the dates have passed receives a 10 pound discount if you want to add a new course with the same or similar details as an existing course it is important that you don’t simply add new dates into the dates and times section of your original entry as this will just expand the dates available for the original course ticket if a pro rata discount has been applied this can cause you to unintentionally lower the cost of the course ticket as you can see here where the system is discounting five pounds for each of the older dates from your previous course and lowering the overall ticket cost before the new course has even begun to recreate an older course with the same details first locate the original entry on your schedule you may need to use the today filter at the top of your schedule to bring up the date selector if your original course is in the past select your original course and then duplicate this entry from the edit entry drop down menu this will create a copy on your schedule which is identical except that it is named copy of followed by the name of your original entry select the copy entry and click edit entry you need to navigate to the dates and times section of this entry to set up the new dates of your course again you may need to use the today filter to find older dates it’s very important to remove the old dates of the course before adding your new ones otherwise these older dates will also be included on your new course ticket edit the old dates or date series so that they reflect the new dates of the course all that’s left to do is to update the entry name in the information section of your entry to remove copy of and save your entry you can always check the dates included on any course via the admin schedule you can find guidance for everything discussed in our help center or reach out to our support team for assistance subscribe to our youtube channel to be notified each time we publish more guidance
