Maintenance crews were unable to isolate and valve down this area and all Plain Dealing water customers lost water pressure while the main was under repair. The repair was completed at 2:00 p.m. and the system is pressuring up.

The advisory is a precautionary measure and customers are encouraged to boil their water for one minute before consuming it until the advisory is rescinded. The advisory pertains only to water for consumption.

Water customers will be notified when the advisory is rescinded.
