Australia is set to spend $2.7bn to boost its stock of long-range missiles and establish a manufacturing industry for guided weapons in response to heightened strategic competition in the Indo-Pacific. The outlay will comprise $1.6bn to buy long-range missiles, including more HIMARS, and $2.5bn to commence domestic production.
