Japan has been shaken by aftershocks following a 6.5 magnitude earthquake in the central Ishikawa region on Friday. The quake destroyed several buildings and at least one person has died, and around 23 people have been injured. Japan’s disaster management agency has reported that more than 50 aftershocks, some strong, have hit the region.
