I am so impressed with the fighting spirit of the Ukrainian people. Their President set the perfect tone by rejecting offers to take him to safety. ‘I don’t want a taxi. I need ammunition to fight’ or words to that affect. It’s inspirational stuff for his people and supporters of Ukraine and the complete opposite for those who support Putin.
Biden offered to help him give up more effectively. Sad.

I had no personal stakes in this war since I am Irish, but once 2 of my Ukrainian classmates decided to drop their studies here in Dublin and return to Ukraine to enlist,
it moved me to no end, especially due to our history here, and the problems we had with the English in the past.
Ukrainians are absolute mad lads…sacrificing their lives, but making sure to blow up the important bridges to stop huge Russian tank columns.
Makes my heart ache , and brings tears to my eyes.
Give them hell lads! I hope to see my friends getting back to Dublin someday…Godspeed.
