SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department has been transparent with the community when it comes to being low-staffed.
SPD says they currently have roughly 155 vacant positions.
On Friday, May 26th 8 graduating officers will move forward into the department holding permanent positions to help alleviate the need for personnel.
